originally a 17th century coaching inn on the banks of the river monnow, the bell has been completely restored and has established itself as one of wales's finest inns with eleven individually decorated bedrooms.  visit wales and the aa have awarded it with five stars and the restaurant has won two rosettes for its food.  the bell was voted michelin pub of the year 2007 for the whole of great britain!
